Ben 10 watch timepiece2/18/2024 However, Ben activates Omnitrix's self-destruct sequence, preventing Vilgax from using it. At the end of the season, Vilgax finally manages to corner Ben, forcing him to give up his Omnitrix. Unlike the first two seasons, Season 3 consists of more stand-alone episodes, building up to a final confrontation between Vilgax and Ben. In an attempt to hack the Omnitrix, Ben and Kevin set off an explosion that damages the Omnitrix and gives Kevin a new Metamorpho-like appearance. His happiness is short-lived as Vilgax soon reappears, now with the collected abilities of ten of the galaxy's greatest heroes. Season 3 begins after the events of the Highbreed Invasion, with Ben kicking back and letting his status as savior of the galaxy get to his head. Ben ( Ryan Kelley) encounters a mysterious nano-sized alien life form that takes the form of chips and has the ability to infect and control humans, and this has something to do with his high school ex-girlfriend Elena Validus’ ( Alyssa Diaz) missing father. The first arc, spanning two seasons, begins with the search for Max and evolves into an alien invasion story, with Ben and his friends taking on extraterrestrial fascists called the Highbreed.īen 10: Alien Swarm is the second live-action film in the franchise, and chronologically should be watched before the third season of the Alien Force series. Alien Force introduces the viewers to a completely new set of 10 aliens, which include Humongousaur, Jetray, and Chromastone, along with Kevin’s "Baby", a car he treasures more than his own life. Levin is an Osmosian with Absorbing Man-like abilities who decides to turn over a new leaf and be a hero for a change by joining their team. After Grandpa Max disappears, Ben ( Yuri Lowenthal) puts the Omnitrix back on and sets out to find him, with the help of his cousin Gwen ( Ashley Johnson) and his old frenemy Kevin Levin ( Greg Cipes). Ben 10: Alien Force Seasons 1 and 2 (2008-2009)Īlien Force was the first sequel series to the original Ben 10 show, picking up the story five years later, with a 15-year-old Ben. Once again, with Tetrax’s help, Ben seeks out the Omnitrix’s creator, Azmuth ( Robert David Hall), who is missing, while a mysterious Galvanic Mechamorph is hunting them down. Set after the events of Secret of the Omnitrix, Destroy All Aliens shows Ben and Gwen engaging in their all too familiar banter when Gwen accidentally causes a malfunction in the Omnitrix, which begins to transform people around Ben into aliens from the watch. However, a larger and deadlier threat is waiting for them in the shadows of space. Tetrax ( Dave Fennoy), Ben’s Petrosapien friend from the original series, receives a signal in response to its activation, and together with Ben, Gwen, and the alien pilot Gluto, sets off to search for the creator of the Omnitrix. ![]() ![]() Animo's "DNA bomb" is accidentally set off by Ben during a fight, triggering the Omnitrix's self-destruct mechanism. However, his overconfidence gets him in trouble when Dr. Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix (2007)īy this point in the story, Ben has become quite accustomed to using the Omnitrix and dealing with foes on Earth as well as attackers from space. Ben is eventually able to access over 20 different alien transformations towards the finale, setting the stage for some epic movies. Max and Gwen provide life lessons to the young hero, while also assisting him with technology and magic. Ben can change into ten distinct aliens after discovering the Omnitrix, including Heatblast, Diamondhead, and Four-Arms, however, he discovers more as the story goes on. ![]() Along the route, they intervene in various situations to save the day. Here’s what we think is the best order to watch the Ben 10 TV shows and films chronologically for the best viewing experience.ġ0-year-old Ben Tennyson ( Tara Strong), his cousin Gwen ( Meagan Smith), and their Grandpa Max ( Paul Eiding) travel across the country in the first Ben 10 series, which launched the franchise in 2005. Hence, it is completely up to you if you want to watch the reboot after the original show, using it to fill the gaps between the original and Alien Force as Rouleau suggested, or watch it towards the end as a separate timeline. However, the film Ben 10: Versus The Universe establishes the reboot as a separate universe. There were still a lot of stories to tell during that time period”. Duncan Rouleau, a member of the Man of Action group that created Ben 10, said in an interview with Collider that they “had a lingering feeling that we had moved away from his 10-year-old-ness too soon. However, the reboot is when things start to get a bit messy, mostly because it has elements and characters from all the previous Ben 10 shows while also restarting the story. The timeline for the first four Ben 10 shows is pretty straightforward they follow the aforementioned order. Ideas for pastor appreciation month2/18/2024 ![]() Designate a drop off area for the treats and surprise him at the end of your worship service one Sunday in October. Consider fresh paint, updated décor, flowers and plants, new furniture, and even a computer or technology upgrade. Spruce Up His Office.ĭo a surprise office makeover, with the pastor's wife's input, of course. Set it to music and play it as a pre-worship service video each Sunday during October. Create a presentation of photos and video of the pastor(s) in action during the past year. Even better: List every member's signature in the ad. Take out a full-page ad in your local newspaper, featuring a photo of your pastor and a declaration of your church's love and appreciation. Gift them framed prints or a custom photo album or both. Even better: Treat the pastor and other church staff to individual photo shoots for each of their families. Or create original pieces of art work, collaborate on an original song to share with the pastor during a worship service or a visit to his office, or volunteer their time at the church office to help clean or organize. Teens and young adults can write letters as well. Ask the pastor to stop by the children's ministry area for a visit and share a prepared song of thanks with him. Allow kids to present the bookmarks to the pastor personally. Laminate bookmarks created by the children in your church, featuring their art work and signatures. Take time to express personally what your pastor means to you. Social media posts of praise are nice and always welcome, but a hand-written note is such a treasure these days. Include an instruction note inviting each church member to write and mail a personal note of encouragement and appreciation to the pastor during the week. On the Sunday before Pastor Appreciation Day or anytime the month prior, distribute stamped envelopes addressed to the pastor. It's also a great time to thank and honor all of your church staff. Canon m50 mark ii external microphone2/18/2024 ![]() If you usually vlog from a single position and want to keep image quality at its highest, then a prime lens might make the most sense. Prime lenses are often optically sharper than zooms, and physically smaller and lighter. Large apertures also make achieving a narrow depth of field easier, so if you want to shoot video with the subject in sharp focus against a blurred background, a prime might be the best choice. The larger the aperture (that is, the lower the f-number), the more light enters the lens, which means improved image quality in low-light conditions. Prime lenses have a fixed focal length, limiting them to a single field of view, and tend to have larger apertures. Many cameras, such as the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III, can also be connected via Bluetooth to the Canon Camera Connect app on your smart device to film or shoot yourself remotely.Īnother lens choice vloggers face is prime versus zoom. Whichever lens you decide to use, flip out your camera's screen to help you position yourself in the frame to make filming yourself and low-angle shooting a breeze. DSLR users might opt for the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM, which can also be used on EOS R System cameras with any of the range of EF-EOS R Mount Adapters. So if you're shooting with an APS-C camera such as the Canon EOS M50 Mark II, pairing it with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens such as the Canon EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM means you can fit more into the frame.įor full-frame EOS R System cameras such as the EOS R6 or EOS RP, the RF 15-30mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM is a compact, quiet, easy-to-use lens that offers a similar ultra-wide field of view. A 24mm lens is good for that purpose, but an ultra-wide lens – one with an effective focal length of less than 24mm – is even better. Many vloggers favour wide-angle lenses because they can be used in tight spaces such as a bedroom or kitchen to show as much of the scene as possible. Boondocking rv meaning2/18/2024 ![]() I know, you want to know the definition in RV life. Partial Hookup – when you meet someone at a bar and only make out. It means you can literally hook up your dump tanks, electrical line and fresh water line right at your camp site. It can be fancy with a clubhouse and special features but it can also exist at campgrounds like KOA or state park. Also here you can possibly find potable water and if you’re really lucky you’ll find a place that can also fill your propane tank.įull Hookups – the opposite of boondocking, RV camping bougie style. This is clean water that you can drink, usually after you filter it.ĭump station – a place you can dump your tanks with the proper tools and hoses, which are usually not provided. Like the black tank, it should be held until you can reach a dump facility.įresh water tank – where you keep the potable water. Gray tank – holds your used water from your sinks and shower. ![]() They tend to be first come first serveīlack tank – where your poo goes to be held until you properly dump it at an RV dump facility. You’ll find that there are camp sites yet they are undeveloped and rarely numbered. Basically boondocking.ĭispersed Camping – generally camping in public lands. Your host, which could be someone’s home to a National Forest expects that you’ll simply park and then leave the site in the same condition.ĭry-camping – camping with no amenities. This means you will not need facilities like a toilet, electricity, water or propane. To quickly find a term do CTRL+F and type in the word.īoondocking – camping or staying somewhere as a self-self contained vehicle. These are in no particular order, I’m too lazy to alphabetize but they should be somewhat categorized. Of course, at one time I too searched for them or learned from other RVers their meaning. These are terms I use often as an RV Nomad and my definitions of them. As you read my blog you may come across some words that you’re just not sure what the hell I’m talking about. We want to enable you to get out there and explore this beautiful world we all share. The RV world is riddled with so many foreign terms for those who have never owned one. Additionally, you can often find dispersed camping areas near them which may be more beautiful and secluded. Most of our listings are small campgrounds on public lands. They are, however, a good jumping off point to explore the area. We won’t claim that every site we list is like that. These are the gems that make a boondocking lifestyle worthwhile. You may very well end up with the kind of campsite that you, literally, can not pay for! If there was anyone around to collect your money, they’d stick fifty campsites on the land and ruin what makes it special. However, there are still plenty of activities for people in the right mindset.ĭid we scare you off yet, or have you decided that free camping might just be for you? The good news is that if you decide to try boondocking, you will find some of the most serene and beautiful campsites anywhere. We try to accomodate both types of camping without breaking the bank! Ten dollars isn’t what it used to be, so campgrounds that meet our most important criteria tend to be closer to boondocking than fancy resorts. Different people have different desires and people’s needs change regularly. While boondocking, you often need to amuse yourself rather than go to the campground’s swimming pool or the golf course down the street.Īt, we understand that both types of camping are valid. If you prefer to be surrounded by neighbors and have lots of defined recreational activities, then maybe you would be happier in a campground. If you enjoy being outdoors soaking in peace, quiet and natural beauty, then it just might be. The real question to ask is whether or not boondocking is right for you. You may also hear people talk about ‘dispersed camping’, which is the official term often used by government agencies. Often, dry camping means staying in a campground without hookups, whereas, boondocking typically means staying in a completely undeveloped area. You may also hear it referred to as ‘dry camping’. Boondocking is essentially camping without hookups. ![]() What is boondocking? If you are new to camping, you may ask this same question. By analogy, I was thinking it might operate like DEVONthink’s “Show in Finder” - except now I’d like to “Show in DEVONthink” from an external app. Often when I come across files or folders in Finder, I’d like to quickly open them in DEVONthink (i.e., without slowly navigating to them again in DEVONthink).
